Better in Blue – RV Redecorating

RV redecorating should be it’s own show. I’ve seen some amazing overhauls on the internet. But what about those of us who don’t want to tear the whole thing apart before we’ve spent some time inside?  Here you go!  RV redecorating on the down low…..  easy changes that make a big difference! We showed you the beginning shots of Little House of Big (on wheels) with her strong dusty rose/mauve tones (see the Pretty in Pink (NOT!) post).  Let me reveal to you our Better in Blue project! Recovering Banquet Cushions – The Good, The Bad, The Ugly and The Frustrating

So you think you can recover cushions…… so did I……. You’ve seen the pink interior. Here’s a close up of the eye pleasing fabric the manufacturer chose. Pretty, right?   Actually, I don’t think it’s too bad. It’s just that it was E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E and not compatible with any other pattern. RV Window Valence Updates

Recovering our RV valences turned out to be a very worthwhile project, and nothing says “good times” like a little DIY project. And nothing screams DIY like owning an RV.  Like any home purchased, there is no lack of decorating items that need to go when the new owners move in. Being a trailer from 2005, it is astonishing how much of the interior felt like it was stuck in a time warp from another decade or two earlier. For us, the most noticeable things inside our RV that made it feel…
