Camping Trip #3 — James M. Robb Campground at Colorado River State Park
The James M. Robb Campground is right along Interstate Highway 70, near Palisade, Colorado. We were wary of the highway’s proximity but it was only one of two sites still available to us late bookers. We were pleasantly surprised! It’s a lovely campground. Yes, occasionally you’d hear a truck but the highway noise was minimal. There is an active set of train tracks on the far side of the river and that first 4:00 am train startled us but it’s amazing how fast we didn’t hear the train anymore. The grounds…
Trip to Eleven Mile Reservoir!

The Trip of Firsts: First RV Camping Trip
There always has to be a First RV Camping Trip…… Here’s the story of ours. We bought her in a snow storm and Mother Nature, being the bitch that she is, is determined to make us test her in a snow storm. Once upon a time, in a small house in a regular neighborhood, there lived a couple who had a dream.
